FAQ

What gear do you use?

I'm a Sony girl. It's just what I started with and stay loyal to since I'm consistently happy with the outcomes of my photos!

How did you get started in photography?

I originally studied to become a teacher, but it was motherhood—and my struggle with anxiety—that led me to photography. Picking up the camera helped me slow down, connect, and savor the fleeting beauty of everyday moments. Over time, it became more than a passion—it became a calling to help other families hold on to theirs, too.

Are you full-time? How long did it take you to get there?

Yes, I’m now full-time with my photography business—but it didn’t happen overnight. I started slow, juggling between shoots and being a mother. It's taken years of refining my pricing, workflow, and confidence before stepping into this as a sustainable, full-time career. It’s been a journey of steady growth, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Everyday I wake up overjoyed to work at my business!

How do you get clients to invest in albums and printed products?

Through education, intentional designing each session, and a super supportive reveal process. I walk clients through it all—and make sure they feel excited about what they’re investing in.

Do you ever get ghosted or rejected?

Oh my, YES! It happens! I And it used to really sting to get rejected but I’ve learned that not everyone is my client—and that’s okay! I’ve built in boundaries and systems that help keep my confidence (and calendar) full so I work with clients who are absolutely wonderful and love the quality of service I provide them!
